Pokémon GO announced that none other than the Fire Mouse Pokémon is being featured in the June Community Day Classic. What that means is that during the event Cyndaquil is going to appear more frequently in the wild. The event itself is on June 22 from 2:00 p.m. (local time) to 5:00 p.m. (local time).
For event bonuses, there's not much when compared to the Community Day happening earlier in June. However, it's still good enough and the rewards for the Community Day Classic include:
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event last for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event lasts for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
Research Time
During the event, a Community Day Classic–themed Field Research is going to be available. Trainers who can catch Cyndaquil can earn rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, and even additional encounters with Cyndaquil.
Meanwhile, those who want more can shell out $1 and with it get access to the Cyndaquil Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research story. That means more fun and more rewards.

During the event, an Ultra Community Day Box is going to be available and priced at $4.99. It contains:

Being with a Group
Sometimes in Pokémon GO there's more fun when playing with a group. Those looking for other trainers can simply head on over to the Community Day map. There they should be able to find Community Ambassador events and local parks.
The parks marked on the Community Day map are historically popular places for trainers to gather during Community Day. These parks is sure to be a fun choice especially when playing with the local community while at the same time enjoying some fresh air.
