Some of the many events coming to Pokémon Go this October are the Pokémon Spotlight Hours. These are going to take place every Tuesday of the month, with the first two events set to feature Pikachu. However, this particular Pikachu is going to look a little bit different, but not too much.
On both Spotlight Hours, Pikachu is going to wear the caps that were worn by none other than Ash.
Now we did mention that Pikachu is going to be in the spotlight twice. So that also means he’s going to be wearing different caps for each one.
The first Spotlight Hour is tomorrow, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. Pikachu is going to be wearing the World Cap worn by Ash in the ongoing Pokémon Journeys: The Series. For this Spotlight Hour, Trainers get to earn twice the amount of XP for catching Pokémon.
The second one is going to be on October 13. This time, Pikachu is going to be wearing the Original Cap that’s worn by Ash in the previous series. For this Spotlight Hour, Trainers earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon.
Other Spotlight Hours
Exciting as that may sound, there are two other Spotlight Hours. October 20 is going to feature Shuppet with the Special Bonus being earning twice the Candy for transferring Pokémon. The final Spotlight is going to be on October 27 and is going to feature Duskull. The special bonus for this one is going to be earning twice the XP for evolving Pokémon.
October Events
Spotlight Hours is just one of the many events happening this month. There are also the five-star raids that are sure to excite those who want to battle. Then there’s the October Community Day and the Raid Hour. You can read more of that here.
Remote Raid Pass
Trainers around the world can also get the chance to earn a free Remote Raid Pass. This is going to be available every Monday. The most interesting thing about the free Remote Raid Pass is that this is not going to be limited to October, but also includes the Mondays of November. Read more about that here.
