The Prison Break twitter account dropped an obscure hint about the show’s upcoming fifth season. A GIF shows a crumpled piece of paper that reads: “Find the Sheik of light and I will be free.” While it’s easy to assume those are Michael’s hands in the image, the contents of the note actually suggest otherwise. The clue reads more as a note from Michael to Lincoln, with instructions of how to help him escape the Yemeni prison.

In Arabic, Sheik is used to describe the leader of a Muslim community or chief of a village. Other than that, it’s anyone’s guess what that clue really means. This is far from the first cryptic message Fox has given fans. The first trailer revealed Michael has new tattoos this season, but it’s impossible to decipher what they could mean in the context of this new prison in Yemen. Michael also said a piece of gum “is going to start a sequence of events that will finish on the other side of the world.” I’ll believe it when I see it, Wentworth.
There hasn’t been much talk of Prison Break since the trailer dropped at San Diego Comic Con in July. Fox has yet to set a release date for the show’s comeback season starring primetime’s favorite duo, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell.
