The PS+ free games for May have been announced by Sony. There are five games offered this month across PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. Let’s check them out below.
PS4
First up, the PS4 games. The big one coming in May is Tropico 5. This city-building game sees players take on the role of El Presidente as he leads his country through prosperous (or not) times.
Next for PS4 is Table Top Racing: World Tour. This miniatures racing game emphasises combat as much as going fast, and is created by one of the minds behind Wipeout.
The last game coming to PS4 is the cross-buy game Switch Galaxy Ultra. This will also be coming to the PS Vita. Switch Galaxy Ultra is a take on the endless runner genre, with players piloting a ship through difficult courses by switching between lanes.
PS3
The first game coming to the PS3 in May is LocoRoco Cocoreccho! This is one of the most Japanese games you’ll play, with all sorts of weird creatures making noises and things. It’s hard to describe, just watch the trailer.
The second game coming to PS3 gamers is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2. This 2D game is the sequel to the Bionic Commando reboot, and features all the same arm-swinging, gun shooting and explosions as the first one.
PS Vita
God of War: Ghost of Sparta will be the big PS Vita release in May. This game sees the God of War franchise carry all of the series’ signature combos and over-the-top action to the PS Vita. Expect plenty of mythical creatures getting slayed in all sorts of gory ways.
Switch Galaxy Ultra will also be releasing for PS Vita, as mentioned above.
So what do you think? Are there any games here you’re excited to start playing? What do you hope will be offered for June? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
