Relapse is a 3D turn-based, deck-building roguelike in which you take on the role of Realm - a peasant who embarks on a quest to break the curse that can potentially wipe out humanity forever. It features more than 240 cards and five main decks that offer unique bonuses to help you win. The game also has over 100 trinkets that synergize with the cards in your deck.
Developer Valklabs recently launched Update v2.0.0 that adds Ascension Modes to Relapse. These are basically new difficulty levels that make the game even more challenging than your last playthrough. You can unlock more Ascension Modes by beating the current difficulty level. If you’ve already finished the game in normal mode, you will get Ascension 1 immediately after updating.
Cards in Relapse can gain new abilities when they level up. That said, certain cards have some new effects in Update v2.0.0. The Siphon Card, for example, gains the ability to remove block and dispel at Level 2. At Level 3, this card can remove thorns as well.

- Bleed damage reduced from 2x to 1.5x.

- Damage multiplier reduced by 0.25 for each level

- Fixed an issue with resolution sizes not resizing windows correctly at all values.
- Fixed an issue with Ogre Shaman heals not restoring any HP due to lack of stat attribute required.
- Enemy intent no longer lists Curses as a debuff and is now displayed as an unknown intent.
- Fixed an issue with summoned enemy not being added to known codex during battle.
