A new tactical turn-based role-playing game will be coming soon in the form of Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery. The upcoming title set to release for multiple platforms comes from publisher X.D. Network and developer MICAteam. MICAteam is under Sunborn Games Technology, a Shanghai-based studio who is behind the smartphone strategy game Girls’ Frontline.
Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is a strategy RPG that is set on Earth in the near-distant future. The Earth is plunged deep into what is called the “Second Cold War”, a world war that involves two factions – the growing power in the Antarctic Union and the old stronghold in UURSG – battling for dominance over cutting-edge technology and superiority that can turn the tide of the Second Cold War in their favor.
Mendo, who works as an operative for MID (the Antarctic Union’s Intelligence agency) was the sole survivor of an ambush that his tactical team suffered during a mission, but it also left him with amnesia. He is then rescued by a mysterious girl with silver hair who calls herself Jefuty. The two then find themselves in the middle of the conflict between these two factions. They must work together if they are to survive and overcome the obstacles that they will soon encounter. As they get closer to the truth, the air of mystery that surrounds Jefuty’s identity is lifted bit by bit, and it will become clear that Mendo has gotten himself tangled in a massive conspiracy.
Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is a revamped and improved version of the title Codename: Bakery Girl which was released in 2013. Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery feature new graphics, voice over work, new stages, new narratives, and new storylines. You play as Jefuty, who is a loner, struggling to survive by herself in the middle of the war and will encounter multiple unique characters on her journey.
No release date has been announced for Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery, but expect the tactical RPG to release for the Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and mobile devices. The game will support Japanese audio with English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean subtitle options.
