While we have known that Rise of the Tomb Raider would be coming to PC sometime this month, we now know that it will definitely be releasing on Jan. 28. Along with the release date information, we also have Rise of the Tomb Raider's minimum PC system requirements as well.
This news comes straight from Square Enix themselves. The minimum PC specs are as follows:

- Minimum OS: Windows 7 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 650 2GB or AMD HD7770 2GB
- RAM: 6GB
- HD Space: 25GB
- DirectX: DirectX 11
- Input: Mouse + Keyboard
In a press release, developer Crystal Dynamics expressed how excited they were for the PC release, especially after having a very welcomed reception on consoles. They are also confident that PC players will fall in love with the game as well. “PC players are a passionate, devoted audience and we know they’ll embrace the version created for their systems,” said Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available as a digital download for PCs on Steam, the Windows Store, Amazon, and the Square Enix e-store. Physical copies are also available from other retailers. The standard edition will run you $59.99, while the Digital Deluxe edition is $89.99 and includes a Season Pass to nearly all current and future DLC.
If you are looking to splurge a little, a Collector’s Edition is also available. This special edition includes the Digital Deluxe version of Rise of the Tomb Raider, a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and jade necklace, and a steel case. You can buy this special edition from the Square Enix e-store for $149.99.
