A new TV spot for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens with Darth Vader evaluating the Death Star OS as a nervous Director Orson Krennic watches.

There are two main focuses in the new Rogue One TV spot: the unstoppable power of the Death Star and the hope motivating the Rebels, united behind the rhetoric and leadership of Jyn Erso. While some of this new TV spot is stuff we’ve seen before, there’s a surprising amount of new footage, including plenty of X-Wing action.

Give the new Rogue One spot a watch:

One element about the Rogue One marketing that’s surprised me so far is how little Darth Vader we’ve actually seen. As a Star Wars fan keeping track of every drip and drab I’m glad, but Vader seems like such a powerful marketing hook it’s surprising his presence in the movie isn’t made more obvious. Of course, it’s always possible the Sith Lord is barely in Rogue One. Or maybe we’ll see more of Vader as Rogue One ’s Dec. 15 release date draws near.
