There are 35 Power Moons in the Lost Kingdom Nintendo/Player.One

The Lost Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey takes place in a prehistoric world with various creatures and poisonous waters. Players will have to find safe ways to travel around this new Kingdom, including capturing two of the coolest enemies in the entire game, the Flydon and the Wiggler.

There are so many Power Moons to find in Super Mario Odyssey, we broke them down into separate guides by Kingdom.

To find the Power Moon locations for the other levels in Super Mario Odyssey, check out our other Kingdom Guides:

Power Moon #1 - Atop a Propeller Pillar

Go to Swamp Hill and capture a Wiggler. Walk over to the propellers and grab the Power Moon that’s sitting on the second one.

Power Moon #2 - Below the Cliff’s Edge

Atop the tree in the northeast corner of the area will be a Power Moon. Drop off the cliff of Swamp Hill near the waterfall to reach it.

Power Moon #3 - Inside the Stone Cage

In the ruins, ground pound the tall column near the bridge, which will reveal an opening to the cave you’ve probably passed by. Enter it to get your Power Moon.

Power Moon #4 - On a Tree in the Swamp

Capture a Wiggler near the Swamp Hill warp flag and stretch to the narrow ledge near the coins. Follow this ledge till you come across the ruins near a tree. Release and ground pound the platform with the star to raise the Wiggler up. Capture it again to stretch for the Power Moon on a tree branch.

Power Moon #5 - Over the Fuzzies, Above the Swamp

Outside the red door of #6, use a Wiggler to navigate the platforms alongside the mountain avoiding the Fuzzies as you go along. There’s a Power Moon at the end of the path.

Power Moon #6 - Avoiding Fuzzies Inside the Wall

Along the Mountainside Platform warp flag, you’ll find a red door to an 8-bit pipe (you’ll need a Wiggler to access it). Grab the Power Moon inside the level.

Power Moon #7 - Inside the Rising Stone Pillar

At Swamp Hill, leap toward the four-column ruins. Go to the stair platforms with the star on them, walk over to the side facing the water, where there should be a Power Moon in sight.

Power Moon #8 - Enjoying the View of Forgotten Isle

Go to the Rocky Mountain Summit (same area as #21) and climb up the tree to get the Power Moon in the air.

Power Moon #9 - On the Mountain Road

Cross the propeller from Swamp Hill and get the Trapeetles to blast through the impervious blocks. Get to the second block where a group of plants lie. There’s a glowing spot you can ground pound to get a Power Moon.

Power Moon #10 - A Propeller Pillar’s Secret

On the propeller near Swamp Hill, you’ll see a flock of butterflies, ground pound them to get a Power Moon.

Power Moon #11 - Wrecked Rock Block

There’s a sparkling block near the poison waterfall. Find a Trapeetle and throw Cappy at it, and force the enemy to charge you. Get out of the way so the Trapeetle breaks the stone for you, revealing a Power Moon.

Power Moon #12 - A Butterfly’s Treasure

There’s a butterfly on the western side of the mountain all alone on a narrow jutting rock. You’ll need to slowly creep towards the butterfly and throw Cappy to hit the butterfly to get to the Power Moon from it.

Power Moon #13 - Caught Hopping in the Jungle

On the propeller near Swamp Hill (same one from #10), you’ll find a rabbit. Capture a Wiggler and use your stretch ability to corner it and hit it.

Power Moon #14 - Cave Gardening

A cave near Talkatoo has 16 flowers that you’ll need to hit. Use the spin throw from Cappy to activate them all and get a Power Moon.

Power Moon #15 - Moon Shards in the Jungle

On the lower level of Lost Kingdom, capture a Wiggler and make your way from stump to stump to grab the shards. Grab all five to get a Power Moon.

Power Moon #16 - Peeking Out from Under the Bridge

At the bridge near the Odyssey, capture a Wiggler and stretch to the tree holding a caged Power Moon. The Moon is under the bridge adjacent from it.

Power Moon #17 - Twist ‘n’ Turn-Up Treasure

Back at the Odyssey, drop the ledge with the locked panel. Use a Wiggler to reach a key hidden in a cave near the poison. A Power Moon is your reward.

Power Moon #18 - Soaring Over Forgotten Isle!

On the top of Rocky Mountain Summit, capture a Glydon and find the Power Moon on the island in the distance. Fly to it and grab your prize.

Power Moon #19 - The Caged Gold

Below the Big Swamp warp flag is a bridge with some Trapeetles. Get one to follow you, line up Mario with the cage and let it ram into the cage that’s housing a Power Moon.

Power Mon #20 - Get Some Rest, Captain Toad

Capture a Wiggler and make your way under the propellers to get where #15 was. Get to the northwest corner of the swamp area and find a cave opening. Stretch into the cave where Captain Toad is hiding. He’ll give you a Power Moon.

Power Moon #21 - Shopping on Forgotten Isle

Buy a Power Moon from the Crazy Cap store for 100 gold coins. This is located on Rocky Mountain Summit.

Power Moon #22 - Taxi Flying Through Forgotten Isle

Use the binoculars and look into the sky and search for a flying taxi. Zoom in when you find it and you’ll get a Power Moon.

Power Moon #23 - I Met a Tropical Wiggler!

Near the Trapeetles below Swamp Hill is a Bonneter who wants to see a Wiggler. Ground pound the four-column ruins so that the ground at the end of Swamp Hill is raised. Capture a Wiggler and bring it down the stairs. Get out and ground pound the platform with a star on it to raise the end where you left the Wiggler. Capture the Wiggler again and stretch to where the Bonneter is.

Power Moon #24 - Lost Kingdom Regular Cup

Near the Odyssey, a Koopa will challenge you to a race. In this one, you’ll want to make your way to the Rocky Mountain Summit where the Crazy Cap store is.

Power Moon #25 - Peach in the Lost Kingdom

After defeating Bowser, Peach will appear in the Lost Kingdom at the Rocky Mountain Summit. Speak to her to receive a Power Moon.

Power Moons #26-35 will only appear after returning to the Sand Kingdom and finding the Moon Rock.

Power Moon #26 - The Shining Fruit

On the path next to the Hint Toad, you’ll see a Power Moon hidden in the tree branches. Go up and get it.

Power Moon #27 - Jump Down to the Top of a Tree

Go to the top of Rocky Mountain Summit and capture a Glydon. Fly to the Power Moon that sits on a tree below the cliff edge of Swamp Hill.

Power Moon #28 - Line It Up, Blow It Up

On the propellers of Swamp Hill, there are two new blocks to break. Force a Trapeetle to break the blocks for you.

Power Moon #29 - Taking Notes: Stretch and Shrink

Capture a Wiggler and go to the top of the propeller with the Treble Clef on it. Activate it while inside the Wiggler and use the stretch ability to grab all the notes before time runs out.

Power Moon #30 - Lost Kingdom Master Cup

Talk to the same Koopa as the Regular Cup race to participate in the Master Cup. Roll as fast as you can across the jungle floor, toward the bridge. Once on the raised platform beyond the two posts, turn and dive jump to the left-hand tree. Dive jump onto the cage, then on edge of the cliff near the propeller. Leap around the Trapeetle obstacles and wall jump your way to the finish line.

Power Moon #31 - Lost Kingdom Timer Challenge

Near the triangular flowers on the mountain road where Talkatoo is, a scarecrow can be found nearby. Activate it and make your way through the platforms before the time runs out.

Power Moon #32 - Stretch and Traverse the Jungle

North of the Odyssey is a moon pipe that will take you to a secret level. Capture the Wiggler and use the stretch abilities to get around the area.

Power Moon #33 - Aglow in the Jungle

In the same area as #32, when you reach the Piranha Plant, clear away the blocks on the sides so the plant fires at the torches. Light both torches to get a Power Moon.

Power Moon #34 - Chasing Klepto

From the Rocky Mountain Summit, leap from the east side to find a moon pipe and enter the next level. Cappy will be stolen by Klepto, so you’ll need to ground pound the purple blocks to make it across.

Get to Klepto, who will fly away toward the purple blocks. Make sure the bird perches on the block with the star. Ground pound the block next to that one to hit Klepto and save Cappy (and get a Power Moon).

Power Moon #35 - Extremely Hot Bath

After getting Power Moon #34, capture one of the Lava Bubbles and swim around the tall tower. There’s a Power Moon high in the air where the tower is, so jump to it.

REVIEW SUMMARY
Super Mario Odyssey
10.0
Charming, Fun And The Best Game Of 2017
The Nintendo Switch title has slick controls, amazing visuals and a charm (there’s that word again) that I haven't come across before. The story is simple but supplemented with a large cast of new characters and worlds that expand the Mario Universe in a way that, hopefully, Nintendo can expand on for years to come. It’s accessible for younger players and challenging enough for veterans.
  • Visually pleasing
  • Great Story
  • Controls are amazing and uses Switch motion controls the best
  • Great new characters and environments
  • Could be more difficult
  • Camera angles can get annoying
