Bruce Lee is coming back to video games this year, courtesy of the same studio that put the martial arts legend on the EA Sports UFC roster, and fans of EA Sports last MMA game will be pleased to know they’ll have Day One access to Bruce Lee in EA Sports UFC 2.
Last month, EA Sports announced plans to bring “Iron” Mike Tyson to the Octagon, in two forms no less, but he won’t be the only legend joining the UFC 2 roster. Alongside Iron Mike, EA Sports confirmed plans to include legendary fighters Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba, both of whom are well-known among the mixed martial arts community. And now they’ll be joined by Bruce Lee, one of the greatest martial artists mankind has ever known, who served as the mystery fighter for UFC 2’s predecessor.
The announcement also confirms those who skipped out on EA Sports UFC will have a chance to unlock Bruce Lee when UFC 2 heads to stores. Lee will serve as a reward for those who finish the UFC 2 career mode, alongside Tyson, and will also be made available to anyone subscribed to EA Access when they purchase a copy of EA Sports UFC 2.
