Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, the free-to-play battle royale game based on Vampire: The Masquerade franchise received an updated PC system requirements, and oh boy, is the game demanding.
The new requirements suggest that the game needs Windows 10 64-bit minimum. Along with 16 GB of RAM and 20 GB of SSD storage, that’s right, you need an SSD, not an HDD.
The updated requirements differ very much from the older requirements. Previously, a GTX 970 or RX 590 was suggested as minimum requirements, but now it's either GTX 1070 or RX 5600 XT. The CPU requirement is the same as before: Intel i5-8600 or an AMD Ryzen 1600X. The clock speed hasn’t been detailed yet, however.
The recommended requirements also received some changes. GPU requirement is increased from GTX 1080 or RX Vega 64 to RTX 2060 Super or RX 5700 XT. But the CPU requirements have been reduced. Before it was Intel i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 3600, and now, it is either Intel i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X. While the CPU requirements remain high, the adjustments might be helpful to some users.
We have mentioned the requirements below:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: i5-8600/Ryzen 1600X or better
- Graphics: GTX 1070/RX 5600 XT or better
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: i7-8700K/Ryzen 5 3600X or better
- Graphics: RTX 2060 Super/RX 5700 XT or better
- DirectX: Version 11
The more detailed requirements are mentioned on the official Steam page.
Bloodhunt is set to release on PC in the second half of 2021. However, given that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was delayed multiple times, I won’t be surprised if Bloodhunt gets postponed again.
