A new expansion for Warframe is set to be launched this April. The Duviri Paradox offers a new open-world experience to players, whether they're new to the game or veterans. It follows the story of the Drifter stuck in a massive reality-fractured and color-changing world. For this upcoming expansion, players can look forward to seeing how the action-combat experience of the game has evolved.
Duviri is the fourth open world offering a closer look at the improved Drifter experience, the new upgraded melee combat system, and the Intrinsics for players to upgrade their combat, riding abilities, opportunity, and endurance. It also features a review of the expansion’s Decree system along with new Drifter customizations.
All players can begin their journey in Duviri through one of three game modes:
- The Circuit
- Provides a new Warframe-only endless game mode.
- The Duviri Experience
- A full open-world adventure.
- The Lone Story
- A solo narrative experience.
In The Duviri Paradox, everyone is invited to experience an emotionally charged and wondrous world. In this one, the visual and gameplay experiences shift and transpose depending on the mood of the Child King ruler Dominus Thrax, which changes daily. That means preparing to weave through different elements of fear, anger, happiness, envy, and sadness. Each mood is visually represented not only in environments but also combat. Players are sure to see that enemies and citizens of Duviri behave differently and colors shift to offer freshness with each step into this world touched by the Void.
The Duviri Paradox has the usual quests and activities, but this upcoming expansion also unites core Warframe with all the things related to the Drifter. Below the floating islands of Duviri lies an area called The Undercroft, a broken Void space where Dominus Thrax cannot completely control the Void. The Undercroft features the full Warframe experience free from the eyes of Dominus Thrax and feature custom Warframe arenas where Decrees also matter and a mix of known enemies and different threats.
Those who can complete the Warframe segment of The Durivi Paradox obtain rewards and are sent back to Duviri while restoring color to the shifting world.
Warframe is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
