The latest update for Warhammer Underworlds: Online, Patch 049, is now live on Steam. The hotfix is solely focused on bug fixes, so don’t expect any new content or balancing changes. Some of the issues addressed by the update are related to Cards.
The patch improves the server's stability as well. Players who can’t connect to the server after 60 seconds will get a notification. This should increase the possibility of reconnecting. Additional fixes include the ones for Stormsire’s Cursebreakers inspire window and for Tutorials 1 and 2.

Patch 049: Minor Hotfix Patch Notes
General Bug Fixes
- Players are now notified if they’re unable to contact the server after 60 seconds, allowing the possibility of reconnecting
- Improved server stability even more
- Updated the URL in the “Resources” tab to link you to our brand new Steam game guides
- Objective markers cannot be moved onto Lethal or Blocked hexes (affecting Mischievous Spirits and Shifting Shards)
- Push Chainrasps ability is fixed and only triggers once
- Tutorial 1 & 2: small fixes to fighter targeting
- Tutorial 2: player now cannot skip the Tireless Assault reaction
- Tutorial 2: tutorial progresses properly after Objective 3 is scored
- Stormsire’s Cursebreakers inspire window fixed
- Averon's Fulmination attack now works with spell damage modifiers
Card Bug Fixes
- Total Offence won't trigger multiple times in a Gorefist reaction loop
- Fatal Riposte playerControl and cardInstance variables checked
- Deathly Charge and Waagh! should now apply for the whole round once a fighter uses a Charge action
- Lethal Strike should only discard itself after the first attack
- Victorious Duel now scores if a Leader kills a Leader with a Gambit spell
- Deceitful Step uses Place (not Push)
- Frozen in Time uses Defence dice not Attack dice
- Fixed missing attack options with Ready For Action
- Ready For Action now works when movement is 0
- Ready for Action now works with Sneaky Stab-stab
