World of Warcraft Classic revealed that two world bosses have arrived. In WoW, world bosses are considered as raid bosses since a party of more than five players is needed in order to take them down. World bosses by definition are located outside.
Azuregos
The first boss is Azuregos. He is a member of the Blue Dragonflight and has made his home in Azshara. He stands guard over magical artifacts left behind. Players need to gather a group that can withstand his rather frosty reception in order to lay claim to the items that he is protecting. As they say, to the victor go the spoils. For Hunters, this means a chance to get the Ancient Sinew Wrapped Lamina. While the item has a low chance to drop when it comes to elite blue dragons, it's a sure item drop from Azuregos.
The item is for the Hunter class and needs for the player to be level 60 in order to equip it. This unique item binds when picked up and when equipped increases ranged attack speed by 15%. It is truly an excellent item for a Hunter.
Azuregos can be found in Azshara and players need to be level 60 in order to have a chance at bringing the beast down. Finally, it's suggested that at least 40 players team up to have a chance at victory.
Lord Kazzak
The second world boss is Lord Kazzak. He can be found in the Tainted Scar—Blasted Lands, so teams need to get their best trackers and fighters in order to find him and battle. He lives and patrols the area deep in the Tainted Scar and is more than willing to attack anyone who cross his path. A team of 40 players, all of which must be at least level 60, need to prepare for a fast and furious battle. Keep watch for his Shadow Bolt Volley, which deals massive amounts of raid-wide damage.
This world boss also has an associated quest. Lord Kazzak is guaranteed to drop the Eye of Shadow, which is often a random drop from elite demons. Players can complete the Balance of Light and Shadow quest to get the weapons Benediction or Anathema.
So what are you waiting for? Prepare the weapons and rally the troops!
