Gaming chair company Clutch Chairz has revealed it will be making a line of chairs themed after WWE Superstars. This news comes from a post on the Clutch Chairz website.
“With the crossover of WWE and gaming fans, we believe this partnership can provide a great deal of excitement to both the gaming community and the WWE fanbase,” Clutch Chairz chief marketing officer Sammy Sucu said in the post.
The first line of chairs is expected to hit store shelves in Q1 of 2017. This means they will likely be available around March, but wait on Clutch Chairz to announce a more specific date closer to release time. Preorders for the chairs will be starting in January of 2017.
Multiple Superstars have been named that will have a chair designed around them including John Cena, The New Day, Sasha Banks, AJ Styles, The Rock, Enzo and Cass, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and oddly enough The Ultimate Warrior.
That’s a really odd choice in wrestlers. Cena, Enzo and Cass and Sasha Banks all make sense because of how popular they are and The New Day have the most ties to gaming with Xavier Woods’ UpUpDownDown show. Why is The Ultimate Warrior getting a chair though? Even Macho Man is an odd choice.
No pricing information has been released for the chairs yet, but other chairs from the company range from $360 to around $470. Because of the WWE license, the WWE Superstar chairs are likely to be on the higher end of this range.
