When asked by fans, Insomniac community director James Stevenson confirmed that the footage was brand-new. The inclusion seems like a nice easter egg for the upcoming Sony game.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is closer than you might think. Fans who are hoping for more Spider-Man-related content will be glad to know that the upcoming game will release for PlayStation 5 in late 2023.
