Battlefield 1 will release tomorrow for those who didn’t splurge on the Early Enlister edition, and if you’re like me, you’ll want to know how you can get to sniping from horseback as early as possible. Good news: things get going right at midnight.
According to the listing on the Xbox Store, Battlefield 1 will unlock right at midnight. It’s unconfirmed if this is EDT or local time. Those on the West Coast should check their consoles at 9 p.m. just to be sure.
Then again, if you really want to get started, those with EA or Origin Access could have been playing through the 10-hour demo since Oct. 13. EA Access is limited to Xbox One gamers only and Origin Access is limited to those on PC. PS4 gamers are left out from this promotion.
Alternatively, you can pre-order the Early Enlister edition of Battlefield 1. Doing this will grant you full access as soon as you get the game going. Early Enlister access began back on Oct. 18.
For those downloading Battlefield 1 , get ready to clear out some hard drive space. The game will be 42.4GB on PS4 and 42.7GB on Xbox One. PC players will need 50GB of free hard drive space as well.
So what do you think? Will you be playing Battlefield 1 as soon as you can? Will you wait to read a few reviews first? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
