Battlefield 1’s They Shall Not Pass expansion will bring new maps, weapons, and game modes. To get a quick peek at the French Army in action on one of the new maps, check out the most recent gameplay trailer below.
The trailer goes in-depth on how the Frontlines game mode will work. Frontlines combines Conquest and Rush into one game, with players fighting over chained control points. The first phase of a Frontline game will see both teams fighting over a chain of objectives, with only one objective active at a time.
Once a team has fought the opponents back to their base, the opponents can use two telegraph machines to call in airstrikes. The round ends once both telegraph machines for a team have been destroyed.
No release date for They Shall Not Pass has been announced, but two-week early access can be unlocked by purchasing a Battlefield 1 season pass. More information about the expansion will be arriving in the coming weeks.
