If you're looking for a new kind of gaming experience, you should check out Breakout 13. This is a narrative adventure game that offers an interactive cinematic experience focused on a group of misguided youths sent to a correctional center and now are trying to escape. If you're excited about it, you can get the game on Steam this January 9.
The game is set sometime in the early 21st century and is an adaptation of Mysteries of Fence from 66RPG. You take on the role of a rebellious teenager who despite being a game genius, is sent to a behavior correctional center. To survive, you need to make a series of choices and along the way learn more about the secrets and conspiracies happening in the correctional center.
While the main character is considered a master in the game world, in the real world, you are considered as a troubled teenager. This is one of the reasons why you’ve been sent to the correctional center, a facility that claims to have saved countless similar teens. To “transform” you, this facility is willing to go the distance like verbal abuse, corporal punishment, beating, confinement, and even electrotherapy in Room 13.
