Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is just hours away from its Nov. 4 release date, so the game’s unlock and download times have been revealed for pre-order and day-one players. Want to know when you can start playing? CharlieINTEL has the full rundown.
As shown in the tweet above, North America has four specific download times that are simultaneous but differ based on timezone. Officially, everything will go live as of 12:01 a.m. EDT on Nov. 4, 9:01 p.m. PDT on Nov. 3, 11:01 p.m. CDT on Nov. 3 and 10:01 p.m. MDT on Nov. 3. For our readers in the U.K., expect unlocks at 12:01 a.m. GMT on Friday. This applies to PS4, Xbox One and PC, and it also unlocks Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer as well. All told, this is nothing different from most other game launches, but the details are still important for Call Of Duty fans.
If you really want to be among the first to experience Infinite Warfare, Australia unlocks happen at about 9 a.m. EDT tomorrow morning. However, getting access to the game in the United States will require use of a VPN and regional accounts to make the purchase. Especially if multiplayer is involved, the VPN will have to be pretty fast too. Anyone without the know-how should obviously patiently wait until the real unlocks occur.
Those who pre-order the game can preload on all applicable platforms too. Steam preloading just began over the last few hours, but early downloads for PS4 and Xbox One went live days ago. If you want to play as soon as the above-listed hours arrive, you’re encouraged to purchase early.
Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches at an interesting time for shooter fans as chatter about Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 continues to clog up the airwaves. Will Activision’s latest effort be able to maintain its mammoth status to quiet that conversation? We’ll have to wait and see.
For those less interested in exact unlock times, Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be amply supplied in stores on Nov. 4.
