The Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare release date is almost upon us, so the game’s preload dates for PS4 and Xbox One have been revealed. We also have news regarding the latter console version’s standalone file size.
The news arrives via the Call Of Duty aficionados at charlieINTEL. While there may be some slight variations related to region, the majority of the information here is accurate for all users. With regard to preloads, those that pre-ordered the game on Xbox One should be able to start downloading everything now. At the time of writing, PS4 preloading will begin on Sunday, Oct. 30.
Those who want to play Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare as soon as the title launches might want to consider preloading it too given the title’s massive file size. PS4 players that purchased a Legacy or Digital Deluxe version of the game with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will need about 82 GB of free space for both vanilla experiences. A day-one patch and the remaster’s December update swell that number to Activision’s previously announced size of 130 GB.
For the most part, Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare doesn’t offer much in the way of pre-order bonuses or exclusives today. Several versions offer a special Zombies pack as well as a bonus revamped Terminal map. Access to the closed beta was also promised, but those dates have since passed.
We were unable to locate any PC preload details. The next step will, of course, be to find out precisely when those preloads unlock for all platforms. We’ll try to provide that information as soon as possible.
Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare comes to PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 4.
