The Pitt Update is coming on September 13 to Fallout 76. It’s going to be an exciting time because everyone has the chance to leave Appalachia. Today, we look into what more this upcoming update can offer.
Before we look into what those new features are, players should know Purveyor Murmrgh is hosting a legendary sale this weekend. Drop by Murmrgh’s shop inside the Rusty Pick in the Ash Heap region and get your hands on legendary weapons and armors for 25% off.
They're Back
A new batch of Responders has come together with the plan of reviving the noble mission of the former faction. They've taken up residence at The Whitespring Resort, which they've named "The Whitespring Refuge." The group is not only supporting refugees but also new arrivals in Appalachia. They hope that they can use the recently restored Vertibird to help distant settlements.
Players can finish Daily Quests for the Responders at the Whitespring Refuge to charge up the Vertibird’s Ultracell Battery and lead Expeditions to the first destination: The Pitt.
Go on Missions
Once the Vertibird is fired up, players can then take a flight to The Pitt and bring up to three teammates. Upon arriving at The Pitt, they can take on challenging and repeatable missions "Union Dues" and "From Ashes to Fire." To start the missions, players need to find Union Local leaders Hex and Danilo and help their people in fighting back against the Fanatic Raiders.
To increase the chances of winning, players need to make sure that they have enough firepower. Remember that these raiders aren't the type to give up without a fight. In addition, they're not the only ones hiding in the shadows of The Pitt.
Enjoy those Rewards
Those who finish missions for the Union in The Pitt are rewarded with, among others, Legendary Gear, Scrips or Treasury Notes, loot, and loads of XP. Once a week, players get a new plan from the Expeditions rare rewards pool. This plan offers mods for players' gear, new C.A.M.P. objects, Pitt-themed items, and more.
Everyone on the team also gets Stamps based on their performance during a mission. For those of you wondering, Stamps are a new in-game currency that can be collected and used to buy specific items from the rare rewards pool by visiting Giuseppe at The Whitespring Refuge.
New Season
Get to ride shotgun with Red Rocket and take a road trip to experience Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in all its (former) glory through the new Scoreboard known as "The City of Steel." For Season 10, players can rank up and get their hands on a wide range of new rewards, including the Auto Axe and Union Power Armor. Check out what you can expect for Season 10 here.
Season 10 starts September 13 so be sure to revisit the Season 9 Scoreboard before then. Remember that any unlocked and unclaimed rewards during Season 9 will vanish.
