Fallout: New Vegas' Remaster Has Been Leaked by a Toy Company, According to Reports

'Fallout' fans, there may be good news ahead.

Bethesda may be planning something behind the scenes as a new leak led to speculations that "Fallout: New Vegas" is getting a remaster that is in the works.

'Fallout: New Vegas' Toy Leak Claims Remaster Is Coming

According to a post on the Fallout subreddit, McFarlane Toys' branch in China has listed two items for an October release. The new figures are called "Fallout New California Ranger 1/10" and "Scorched New California Sierra Member 1/10."

Although each figure was listed as part of the "Fallout 4" lineup, the Scorched Sierra Power Armor is exclusive to "Fallout: New Vegas." Redditor "Morichh" spotted the listings in McFarlane's China store and posted them to the community discussions.

The mislabeling as "Fallout 4" content has led many players to conclude that the "Fallout 4" tag is simply a placeholder to avoid tipping off the announcement prematurely, especially given that McFarlane went through the same situation earlier in the year with the "Fallout 3 Remastered" listing, according to GameRant.

Manufacturing licenses require the sharing of active asset files and concept art, which means McFarlane had to be working on something real. "Fallout: New Vegas," originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda back in 2010, has never received a port for PS4, Xbox One, or current-gen hardware.

There is no commercial reason to put new figures into production for a 16-year-old game with no modern re-release unless one is coming, said the report.

What to Expect From 'Fallout: New Vegas' Remake

Based on how "Fallout 3 Remastered" is shaping up through earlier leaks, the "Fallout: New Vegas" remaster is expected to target PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Regardless, there has been a lot of chatter that these "Fallout" remasters exist, and yet, Bethesda did not announce any Fallout remakes during the latest Xbox Games Showcase at Summer Game Fest 2026.

Fans who still believe in the projects argue that Bethesda might be following the same strategy they used with "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered."

With "Oblivion Remastered," the studio announced the game and released it on the very same day in April 2025. That strategy is making fans think that both "Fallout" remasters could be shadow-dropped with little to no warning when the time comes.

In response, some Reddit users stated that Bethesda has already revealed "Fallout"-branded figures of the T-45 Power Armor in Military Green paint, alongside Paladin Danse and Joshua Graham, which were available even before the toy leak surfaced.

The builds on previous confirmed products make the new listings feel all the more credible to those tracking Bethesda's merchandise pipeline.

Bethesda's 'Fallout' Figurine Bundle

The only officially confirmed "Fallout: New Vegas" release from Bethesda right now is a 15th Anniversary Bundle, and it is a strictly digital offering. This limited-edition 15th Anniversary Bundle includes a Steam code for "Fallout: New Vegas" Ultimate Edition.

The bundle covers the base game and all of its DLC on Steam but runs on the original version of the game with no visual or technical enhancements.

The 15th Anniversary Bundle is a collector-friendly Steam release tied to the game's milestone, not a remaster announcement. It does nothing to answer the question of whether a fully modernized version of the game is coming.

Until Bethesda makes an official statement on the McFarlane listings, the remaster remains a speculation rather than a confirmed product.
