Epic Games has expanded its collaboration with Disney to offer Fortnite players access to Disney+. This is for players who are at least 18 years of age, make real-money purchases in-game, and are new subscribers to Disney+. For these players, they can earn as much as two months of service for Disney+. The offer starts on November 11 and runs until December 31.
So far, Disney+ is available in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. This streaming service serves as the home to Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars movies and shows. In also features a lot of other shows like Hamilton and The Simpsons library, to name a few.
Fortnite players who are eligible can claim the Disney+ offer by going to Epic's redemption website after the player's real-money purchase has been completed. In order to be able to redeem the offer, players need to have a Disney+ account. Learn more about this offer here.
In a statement, Epic Games President Adam Sussman said that they’re “always looking for ways to add value for our Fortnite players, whether it's with gameplay or other types of entertainment experiences." He went on to say that expanding the partnership with Disney allowed them to provide more value to players. With this offer, Sussman shared that Fortnite players get to unlock “an incredible amount of entertainment for our players on Disney's growing streaming platform, and just in time for The Mandalorian Season 2.”
Disney+ President Michael Paull, meanwhile, said that the strong partnership between Epic and Disney has resulted in this new offer. He added that considering Disney+ is about to celebrate its first year anniversary, they are happy to celebrate “the occasion by extending the Disney+ experience and incredible content to Fortnite’s passionate fans.”
A Little Bonus
Fortnite is offering some bonus materials as Cram Session makes a return. That means it’s time to level-up and evolve your favorite items. The details for this Cram Session are:
- For the duration of the event, Quests and Mini-Boss Mission Alerts drop additional XP, Evolution Material, RE-Perk, or Perk-UP.
- Don’t forget your quests. Each of which has ten stages that grant increasingly better one-time rewards upon completion. Rewards include:
- Hero/Schematic/Survivor XP
- Evolution Materials
- PERK-Ups
- Gold
- Available Until November 20
Don’t forget that there’s also a weapon returning to Fortnite next week. Prepare to get the Black Metal Launcher, a weapon that makes use of explosive ammo to fire long-range rockets. It’s going to be available in the Fortnite Event Store on November 13 at 7:00 ET.
