Game of Thrones Season 6 episode 7 “The Broken Man” airs June 5 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
The preview for the seventh episode in the latest season of Game of Thrones mostly touches on Jamie’s visit to the Riverlands to confront Brynden “the Blackfish” Tully, who has refused to surrender to the Lannisters or Freys. But rumors suggest this episode may have a far more consequential reappearance: the return of Sandor Clegane, The Hound.
Here’s the official description for “The Broken Man”:
“The High Sparrow eyes another target. Jaime confronts a hero. Arya makes a plan. The North is reminded.
So how can you watch the new episode of Game of Thrones without cable? HBO now offers a slew of options to help you keep up with Westeros.
HBO Now
HBO Now is HBO’s newer streaming service and doesn’t require a cable subscription. HBO Now is a $14.99 per month subscription, but if you sign up through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon or with your Roku it comes with a 30 day free trial.
HBO Go
Unlike HBO Go, HBO Now requires that you have a password to an existing cable subscription. Still, it’s a great option if you can get it, with new episodes of Game of Thrones becoming available for streaming immediately after (and often concurrent with) the original premiere time.
But really the best way to watch Game of Thrones without a cable subscription is to head to a local bar or a friend’s house. Game of Thrones is one of the few shows where people tend to shut their yaps and let the drama unfold without comment.
We’re sprinting to the finish line, with only three episodes left in Game of Thrones Season 6. Expect “The Broken Man” to drop some major plot bombs.
