AMPLITUDE Studios, the developer of Humankind, has finally released the much-awaited Fabius Maximus update. It not only adds Mod.io support, but it also kickstarts the Dia de Los Muertos events.
The Dia de Los Muertos is a series of events that will greet you after logging in. By completing the challenges that await, you can unlock new and unique customization options, such as complete avatars, symbols, and frames. You can learn more about the event here.
Share User-Generated Content
Another major thing included in the Fabius Maximus update is support for cross-platform, user-generated content (UGC) via Mod.io.
For those who do not know, Mod.io has become a pioneer in mod support. The company provides a suitable platform for game developers to encourage creativity in their community. Some notable games that already incorporated this include Deep Rock Galactic, SnowRunner, and just recently, Humankind.
So, what does this all mean? Well, you can create your own content like custom maps, for example, and share it with everyone no matter what platform they’re on.
