April is upon us and the next Mythical Pokémon distribution is ready to hit everyone’s XY and ORAS games. February had the GameStop Mew distribution and March was the month for Celebi.
In April, the Steel/Psychic-type Jirachi will be available through the Pokémon Mystery Gift option, just like Celebi .
To download Jirachi, you’ll need to boot up your game and go to the MYSTERY GIFT tab. Select RECEIVE GIFT and then GET VIA INTERNET. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be given your own special Celebi; just be sure you’re in a spot that has a good internet connection.
Jirachi comes with its Serene Grace ability and the moves Wish, Confusion and Rest. This Jirachi will come to you at level 100 so it won’t learn any more moves, but as is the case with a lot of these Mythical Pokémon, Jirachi can learn a ton of different TMs and HMs.
The Mythical Pokémon from Gen 3 is one of the rarest Pokémon in the games, as there has not been a recent distribution in the West. So be sure not to miss out on Jirachi when the distribution starts from April 1 to the 24th.
The Pokémon Company is using the 20th Anniversary of the franchise to give away a new Mythical Pokémon each month. The official website has every month’s distribution with some more details but you can also check down below for the list of the remaining Pokémon.
