A large part of battling in any Pokémon game are the hold items your team can equip. Pokémon Sun and Moon is no different, as you’ll find some of the strongest hold items in the game as you adventure through the Alola Region.

In Pokémon Sun and Moon , plenty of the tried and true items can be found, gifted or bought in different shops on different islands.

Trainers can also acquire items from wild Pokémon by using a move like Thief. This is how a lot of the type-specific held items are found. And other items can only be bought by winning Battle Points in either the Battle Royal Dome or the Battle Tree.

Here’s a list of battle items that trainers will want to find like Leftovers, Black Sludge and more broken by the method in which you can obtain them.
