Respawn Entertainment’s newly released video game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, will receive its first patch that addresses texture pop-in and stuttering and performance issues.
The Star Wars community manager officially confirmed the news on Jedi Fallen Order’s official subreddit. The patch is currently in the process of rolling out on PC, with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to follow in a few days. Although full patch notes are not yet available, the patch is said to address the following issues:
Fixing texture flickering while driving AT-AT on Kashyyyk
Fixing issues where inputs from arrow keys fail to register in menu
Fixing Dynamic Resolution issues that does not save properly
Fixing an issue that causes the game to load longer than expected
On the subreddit, players took the opportunity to highlight various other performance issues they have been facing in the game. Neither publisher Electronic Arts nor Respawn Entertainment have commented on the graphical and performance issues with Jedi Fallen Order, therefore it is still unclear when those issues might be addressed for PS4/XB1.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launched on November 15 and was released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Since then, the game has continued to gain positive reviews. If the information relayed on the subreddit happens to be true, gamers can breathe a sigh of relief and not have to deal with all the problems that have been ruining their Jedi experience.
