The reveal of the Nintendo Switch marks the beginning of a new era of gaming for the company and the Switch trailer not only showed off the hardware for the upcoming home/portable hybrid console but some titles coming to the Switch.

Of course, the first title shown was the new Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which will be coming for both the Nintendo Wii U and the Switch. We also got our first looks at what software will be ported over to the Switch.

ELDER SCROLLS TITLE

Bethesda may bring Skyrim or a brand-new Elder Scrolls title to the Nintendo Switch as the third-party support is a huge selling point for Nintendo this time around. Whether this is a new game is not known but it is likely that it will be a port of what Xbox One and PS4 users already have.

MARIO KART

We then get to see what looks to be a brand new Mario Kart game for the Nintendo Switch. It looks similar to Mario Kart 7 but as some fans have pointed out, this will have new features from the last game.

NBA 2K17?

A basketball game was also shown for the Nintendo Switch further emphasizing the third-party support.

Whether this new basketball game is NBA 2K or NBA Live is unknown as Take-Two, 2K Games’ parent company, and EA are both listed as third-party companies who are working on the Nintendo Switch but if you listen closely, you can hear Kevin Harlan for a split-second, who does the play-by-play for NBA 2K17.

MARIO GALAXY?

What’s a Nintendo console without a Mario game? And it looks like we will have a Mario Galaxy -style game coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo’s biggest surprise hit, Splatoon, will make its way to the Nintendo Switch when it comes out in March 2017.
