The Nintendo Switch is here and it looks amazing! The console/handheld hybrid looks like it will be bringing console-quality games to the mobile market, while also working as an at-home console as well. Even better, it looks like there will be plenty of support from third-party developers, including big names like Square Enix and Bethesda.

Wow, that's quite the list of big names. The highlights include Bethesda, with what looks like Skyrim gameplay shown running on the Switch in the launch trailer, EA and their massive library of games, Square Enix (the possibility of the Final Fantasy 7 remake coming to the Switch begins) and Take-Two. If Take-Two is supporting the Switch, could we be seeing Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to the new console? Perhaps.
As for what games these developers are working on, it looks like we'll just have to wait and see. All know know for sure is that Skyrim will be coming to the console along with a basketball game. It's unknown at this time if the basketball game comes from EA or 2K, the two leading developers of NBA games. Both companies are listed above, so maybe both will be supporting the new hybrid console.
So what do you think? What third-party developer would you like to see get added to the list above? What games do you hope make it to Nintendo's new console? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
EDITOR'S NOTE: We received the following statement from Bethesda, which stops short of confirming a Skyrim title for Nintendo Switch: "While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of the Switch. We look forward to revealing specific games and details in the future."
