The Arrow Season 5 villain, Prometheus, hasn’t been the center of attention for awhile now. But thanks to ComicBook.com, we know know he’ll be coming back for Arrow Season 5 Episode 14 and some of the clues he’s left for us so far will start to make sense.
"The episode ends, I think, with sort of the next key move in Prometheus’ grand plan,” Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim said.
There still aren’t many solid theories on the villain’s identity. Before midseason break, he seemed to have ties to Justin Claybourne, but it’s possible that was just all a ploy to mess with Oliver’s head. So far, we know Talia Al Ghul, who also trained Prometheus, plays a key role in solving the mystery but that key hasn’t been revealed in the flashbacks. It’s still unclear if Talia will assist Oliver in the present day as well. Artemis, who turned on Team Arrow in favor of the villain, is also set to come back. It’s unclear if her character will connect to more of the mystery than was let on earlier this season.
Guggenheim also said, “There’s things about Oliver’s killing that you have yet to learn.” It seems like there are still some brutal secrets that have yet to be revealed in the flashbacks that could certainly be crucial to understanding this Prometheus mystery.
