A new teaser for Arrow shows off the new villain for Season 5: The Walking Dead ’s Chad L Coleman. Anton Church wants to run the criminal underground in Star City, taking over Damien Darhk’s spot, so obviously Oliver isn’t too happy about that. In the clip, he says, “Green Arrow cannot be stopped unless we all work together.”
Stephen Amell keeps saying this year is going to be more violent than ever, and so far, it’s not looking so good for Oliver. Curtis Holt practices (and fails) at the salmon ladder, while Ollie’s getting beat up in a warehouse. With Thea’s red suit in storage, Green Arrow could really use some help from his right-hand man, Diggle. Too bad Dig has already left Star City to serve in the military.
The teaser opens with a shot of the Black Canary statue, and we’ll also find out what Oliver promised Laurel in the premiere episode.
Arrow returns Oct. 5.
