There’s a crossover planned for Arrow Season 5 and Supergirl Season 2. While we don’t know when, or have any details about what will bring the heroes together, we do know how Diggle is going to react. This weekend at Salt Lake City Comic Con, Stephen Amell and David Ramsey acted out the scene where Diggle sees Supergirl flying overhead.
"John, she's an alien, and she can fly, and she's from a different Earth. Did you pee? Just a little bit?" Amell said.
Back in July, showrunner Wendy Mericle was asked which crossover show she’s most excited about. She named Supergirl . According to ComicBook.com, Mericle said she’d love to see Supergirl’s “smiling face” in Star City “just for the contrast,” leaving a pretty hefty hint that Supergirl may be coming to Arrow’s turf, not the other way around. What will bring the street-level archer and kryptonite-powered alien together still remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: "Diggle has to have a reaction to Supergirl, that rivals Flash," Ramsey reiterated.
When Diggle first met The Flash, he spilled a whole carton of french fries all over himself and froze still. “Man, that’s not freaking you out,” he said as Barry ran at superspeed with Felicity in his arms. Watch the scene below.
Arrow Season 5 premieres Oct. 5. Supergirl Season 2 premieres Oct. 10.
