Call of Duty: Mobile is introducing a new limited time event with The Airborne Chip Event. The event started on November 4 at 7:00 PM ET and ends on November 11 at 7:00 PM ET. Players who are able to finish all tasks during this event earn the Airborne class in Battle Royale, which allows them to take flight mid-match and glide over enemies.
How do you unlock the Airborne Class? You need to complete 10 objectives that range in difficulty. These are:
- Log in three total days.
- Play one Battle Royale match.
- Play two Battle Royale matches.
- Use one Operator Skill in Battle Royale.
- Use two Operator Skills in Battle Royale.
- Survive in Battle Royale for 1500 seconds.
- Survive in Battle Royale for 3000 seconds.
- Kill five enemies in Battle Royale.
- Kill 10 enemies in Battle Royale.
- Place in the top 10 in Battle Royale two times.
A number of these objectives overlap, so in theory there is a chance to complete different objectives in a single game. For example, you could play a match, kill some enemies with Operator Skills, and then place in the top 10. To make sure that you get the rewards before the event is over, try to work on more than one objective per game.
Airborne Class
Once you complete all the objectives, you can now unlock the Airborne Class which gives you access to a whole array of tactics and strategies. Like the other classes already available in the game, Airborne has two unique tactical advantages.
The first ability is called Ejection Device. This allows you to escape sticky situations, gather visual intel, get a better vantage point, and even follow a relatively safer map to a new destination. While the choice on when and where to use the device is up to you, the opportunities within the gameplay are sure to be limitless.
The second ability is Lightweight. What the ability does is allow you to be more buoyant when using the wingsuit. Combined with the first ability, and you are sure to get that excellent mix of a perfect aerial assault.
Whether its fight or flight, the new Airborne Class is sure to give you some cool moments.
