A new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is out now, despite the fact Activision is marketing the HD remaster as a premium add-on for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, giving us a look at several of the campaign missions we’ll see in Modern Warfare Remastered when it hits PS4, Xbox One and PC in November.
At just over two minutes long, the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered trailer isn’t especially long, nor does it include any surprises if you’re familiar with the subject matter from one of Infinity Ward’s most beloved additions to the Call of Duty series. The trailer recreate several scenes from an older Modern Warfare trailer but that won’t mean much unless you’d enjoy watching the videos side-by-side to compare textures (and other changes). Truth be told, this week’s preview of Modern Warfare Remastered probably won’t do much for anyone who played the first game, beyond a bit of nostalgia, but could theoretically be of use to younger gamers seeing the Modern Warfare campaign for the first time.
For a closer look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, take a couple of minutes to check out the new campaign trailer from Activision and Infinity Ward.
