The minimalist sandbox survival tower defense game Craft Hero has officially entered Steam Early Access. It’s priced at $4.99 but is currently offered at a 10% discount until April 9.
The game has players gather resources to design and build their village, recruit mercenaries by noon, and defend the village by night against the Dark Lords. Players need to beat the Dark Lords one by one. To do this, they need to research to out-tech the Dark Lords.
Main Features
Features of the game are:
- Gather in the wild, refine metals, plant trees, and breed animals to feed the villagers.
- Research to out-tech the Dark Lords. Unlock weapons, magic, electricity, and even automated production.
- Plan defense cunningly using walls, traps, and towers, and lure prey into it.
- Recruit mercenaries and explore the dynamic dungeon, ransack the wilderness to get scores and achievements, for the sole purpose of pride.
- Defeat the Dark Lord, enter the Desert, Tundra, and other new bios, adapt your base accordingly, and conquer more lands!
- Players can switch between Archer, Warrior, and Mage, and create their build with dual weapons, talent, and mercenaries.
Early Access
For the Early Access version, players can enter the desert environment to collect special resources. There are also new challenges, so be careful.
