Fnatic's iceiceice looking serious. Beyond the Summit

Dota 2 team Fnatic may have faltered a bit during Day 2 of the LOOT.BET Data Summit 12 Group Stage. However, during the Playoffs the team appeared to be back in form as it beat opponents Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses to earn a spot at the Grand Finals.

In their first match of the Playoffs, Fnatic faced off against Team Liquid. Fnatic took advantage of the situation and there was a point in the game that Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi on Pangolier died four times within a span of around five minutes. Fnatic took the victory in just 32 minutes. The second game ended faster, lasting less than 30 minutes. Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon on Troll Warlord had a good game, ending with nine kills. Helping him was Kam "Moon" Boon Seng on Death Prophet contributing with eight kills.

In the second match, it was Fnatic versus EG. EG had an excellent showing with Abed Azel "Abed" Yusop on Templar Assassin scoring eight kills and zero deaths. Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev on Nightstalker contributed with seven kills and Andreas Franck "Cr1t-" Nielsen on Tiny added on an extra six kills.

Fnatic didn't take this loss sitting down and fought back, giving EG what they experienced in the previous game. It all boiled down to a game three. Fnatic's picks were just too good with 23savage playing Riki and getting nine kills while Moon on Death Prophet had 10 kills.

The loss brings EG to the Lower Bracket Finals in a match against OG.Seed. The two teams had met previously in the first round of the Playoffs. In the first game, OG.Seed had the slight advantage, but EG grabbed the lead after a team fight went in their favor. Both Abed and Arteezy ended the game with double-digit kills. The second game was pretty much the same with the two again racking up more than 10 kills.

The fight between these two teams happens today and we get to see if EG can continue its dominance against OG.Seed or if the latter going to be able to grab the upset. Whoever wins faces Fnatic in the Grand Finals.
