Elder Scrolls Legends is out for iPad today, but don't get too excited iOS users. The full iOS release of Elder Scrolls Legends for iPhone won't happen until this summer. Android fans need to sit tight, too. The Elder Scrolls Legends Android release doesn't have an official date either, and is also expected to release this summer. My money is on the classic Bethesda E3 move of “and it's available… *dramatic pause* right now!”

For those with an iPad 4 or above, you can download the game immediately through the App Store. The game requires iOS 10 or higher, and is free to download. You can earn cards and other in-game bonuses through playtime alone, or spend a few bucks. Bethesda gotta get paid somehow!
If it feels like CCGs are everywhere now, you're right. It's a very crowded space. But Elder Scrolls Legends is worth a look. The standout feature are the dual lanes. Unlike most CCGs that have one battlefield, Elder Scrolls Legends has (at least) two. And the conditions for the lanes can change from game to game. The single-player campaign really exploits this mechanic, and to some exciting effects.
And since the game is free, it doesn't take much effort to check it out. If you've got an iPad (or PC) and a passing interest in CCGs then Elder Scrolls Legends is worth a look. Elder Scrolls Legends is slated for release on Android tablets next month, Mac in May and Android and iOS phones this summer (probably E3, calling it now).
