This week Fallout 76 is offering something new and different in the Atomic Shop. Starting January 26 until February 16, there’s a free item known as the “Heart Wrencher” Pipe Wrench Skin, which is part of a new event. Today, we’ll take a closer look into that.
Before the details, however, Fallout 76 recently released an update that makes changes to the inventory and the Atomic Shop. In particular, there’s now a button added to each category page. This button allows players to hide or show items that they already have to make browsing less messy. Read more about the update here or watch the video below:
Time to Spread the Love
There’s a new live event, and it can be accessed once the player crafts and equips their Heart Wrencher. The event offers Daily and Weekly Challenges that hand out rewards. The Challenges and Rewards are:
- Daily:
- Kill 5 enemies with the Heart Wrencher
- Rewards: Lunchbox, Perk Card Pack, or Repair Kit
- Kill 5 enemies with the Heart Wrencher
- Weekly:
- Defeat 30 Robots with the Heart Wrencher
- Rewards: RobCo T-Shirt and Shorts
- Defeat 30 Super Mutants with the Heart Wrencher
- Rewards: Green Backwoods Bungalow
- Defeat 30 Mirelurks with the Heart Wrencher
- Rewards: Lobster Trapper Helmet
- Defeat 30 Robots with the Heart Wrencher
