Dr. Alchemy isn't the only big-time Flash villain coming to the CW this fall. Grey Damon ( Aquarius ) will play Mirror Master, but Sam Scudder won’t act alone. He’s got a rogue accomplice joining the cast: The Top.
A man in the comics, Ashley Rickards (Awkward) will bring The Top to life as a woman. Instead of Roscoe Dillon, she goes by Rosa Dillon. She’ll make her debut in Season 3 episode 4, which will tell Mirror Master’s origin story. Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold will also return in the same episode. According to producer Todd Helbing, there’s a big fight between Captain Cold and Mirror Master.
"It's the origin story of [Mirror Master], but it's this struggle between Mirror Master and Captain Cold and you get to see who comes out on top,” Helbing told E! News.
Mirror Master has a huge ego and he’s out to prove he’s the greatest Central City thief ever. Sound familiar? This could be why he’s at odds with Central City’s smoothest criminal mastermind, Captain Cold. With the power to travel through reflective surfaces, Mirror Master’s abilities could quite easily overpower Snart’s cold gun. With the help of a superhuman spinner like The Top, this won’t be an easy battle for Captain Cold.
Reinventing the Legion of Doom for Legends of Tomorrow, The CW has recruited Captain Cold, Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn and Matt Letscher’s version of Reverse Flash to make up the new supervillain team. It’s unclear if Mirror Master’s feud with Captain Cold takes place in a flashback, present day or the flashpoint timeline.
