The latest Gears Of War 4 trailer arrived today, revealing what those aliens have been up to since Gears Of War 3.
“25 years after our world was ripped apart we had peace… but then those we love were taken.”
That’s how the new trailer for Gears Of War 4 starts off, with Marcus Fenix lamenting the horrors that have been happening since the last Gears Of War. The Locust, the big baddies from the original trilogy, dissappeared long enough for Fenix to have a kid, named JD, and for life to return back to normal. But a super solider living a normal life wouldn’t make for a very interesting video game.
In the trailer, we see giant walking mechs, hordes of alien soldiers and some good, old-fashioned chainsaw combat. I’m extremely pumped for Gears Of War 4 , a shooter with an actual single player campaign. Other than DOOM , we haven’t gotten a good single player FPS experience in years, though Recore was close.
Gears Of War 4 launches On Oct. 11 for Xbox One and PC.
