Blizzard is wasting no time revealing cards for Hearthstone’s next expansion, Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan. Kripp just showed off a brand new demon in a YouTube video Monday afternoon.

Abyssal Enforcer is a 7/7 Demon with the Battlecry “deal three damage to all other characters.” Think of it like Hellfire but on a giant, angry body. In Warlocks, Demons usually don’t see a lot of play. Outside of Imp Gang Boss, Doomguard and Flame Imp, most Demons just aren’t good enough to use consistently. I don’t think this new guy is any exception, unless we get more Demons this expansion. If there happens to be another Kabal card buffed Demons in the hand, Abyssal Enforcer would be a pretty sweet card.

Overall, Abyssal Enforcer might see some play in standard ranked. It’s not a bad card; board clear and a strong minion for seven mana is nothing to scoff at. Still, it’s a lot of mana to invest in one card, especially in Warlock. It won’t see any play in Zoo or Discard Warlock, but if Molten Giant somehow gets un-nerfed and Handlock comes back, this card will be teched into that deck.

Volcanic Potion

Over on the Hearthstone main site, Blizzard gave us a look at two new Kabal cards in the set. Volcanic Potion is a three-mana Mage spell that deals two damage to all minions. Like Mage needed any more board clear. Mage is already the best class in Arena and this card makes sure nobody else is coming for Jaina’s throne. In constructed, this card fits well in a lot of Mage decks. Explosive Sheep used to do the same thing as this card in Control Mage, clearing a board for very little mana.

Kabal Chemist

Last up is the Kabal Chemist , a 4-mana 3/3 Kabal tri-class card with a Battlecry that adds a random Potion to your hand. The Potions are all from the Mean Streets Of Gadgetzan, though we haven’t got to see them all yet. There’s Volcanic Potion, Potion Of Madness, Pint-size Potion and Dragonfire Potion. If your deck needs situational board clear, this is the card you want. All of the potions either buff, lower the stats or destroy minions. Its stats are a little weak, so outside of Reno Mage or a new Priest variant, I don’t see the mad chemist getting much play.
