Endless leaks and rumors from Chinese blogs have already disclosed some substantial details months ahead of the anticipated iPhone SE announcement at the Apple media event on March 21. Now, a YouTube video from Beeep finally reveals an alleged Rose Gold iPhone SE unit in the flesh:
Apparently, the iPhone SE can already be spotted at smartphone store fronts at the Huaqingbei market in the city of Shenzhen, where the iPhone and many of the biggest smartphones of today are manufactured. However, don't be fooled: Although the iPhone SE in the video may look legit, it is most likely a dummy or display phone since April, the presenter in the video, never turns on the display.
Nonetheless, there are no surprises here: the new mini iPhone SE will look like an iPhone 6 shrunken to more "nostalgic" iPhone 5 proportions.
So what other rumors have we learned so far? The iPhone SE is expected to be powered by the same A9 processor as the standard iPhone 6 and will also deliver the latest features such as Live Photos and Apple Pay. Like the iPhone 6s, the SE is also expected to feature a 12MP camera. However, sources believe the entry iPhone SE will not have the new 3D Touch technology.
Regardless, expect to learn more about the latest iPhone SE from Apple on March 21.
