Wolfenstein: Youngblood released a new update that includes, among others, new missions, new maps, and new abilities. There's no question that Update 1.0.7 delivers quite a punch and what's more, it's free. This new update is already available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. However the Switch version is set to be released at a later date.
Treasure Hunt
The update introduces a new mission called "Treasure Hunt." To get access to this sidequest, you first need to complete the side mission "Da’at Yichud Artifacts." Once you get access, you're going to be taken through two new areas. The first is the Parisian reservoir, with the second being a secret Nazi bunker. You need to complete these two areas in order to unlock the Da’at Yichud chest. However, it won't be that easy since you need to fight against three new enemy types which are: the Wurmlochsoldat (Teleporting Übersoldier), the Electrodrohne (Tesla Drone) and the Turmhund (Laserhund with a turret).
After you finish the “Treasure Hunt” mission, your journal gets updated with a list of 20 Treasure Maps. This can be found in the “Missions” tab. Following the maps leads you to different artifacts scattered across Paris. For each artifact that you're able to track down you get XP, Silver Coins, and one Ability Point.
New Abilities
Update 1.0.7 gives your three abilities trees new abilities. For the Mind tree there is Quick Revive, the Muscle tree gives you Dual Wield Expert, and the Power tree now includes Silent Kills. There's also another Power ability that you get, which is the God Key Sense ability. This ability allows you to locate treasures in the world and is granted automatically when you complete the “Da’at Yichud Artifacts” mission. That means you won't need to use any Ability Points in order to get God Key Sense.
New Pep Signals
It's not all new abilities, as players also get two new Pep Signals with this new update. The first is Hammer Rage which restores Heavy Weapons for both you and your partner. The second is Quad Damage, which allows you and your sister to deal quadruple the damage for four seconds.
New Skins
The Bomber skin, the Chrome Syndrome skin, and the Bloodthirst skin have all been added in the update.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a first-person shooter released back in July for the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A version for Google Stadia is to be released at a later date.
