As of 12:39 p.m. EST League of Legends ranked queues in NA, EU and EUNE are down. They are also aware of the long load times, there is a backlog of players trying to get in. Riot has announced no reason as to why their servers are not working. For future updates check the server status page.
Update: Ranked is still up, but log in times are still very long.
