To fully celebrate N7 Day, EA has made the entire Mass Effect trilogy Backward Compatible on Xbox One, and has included all three games in the EA Access and Origin Access Vaults. EA has also revealed other games coming to EA Access, including Mirror’s Edge and more.
The news of Backward Compatibility comes from Larry Hryb, aka Microsoft’s Major Nelson, on Twitter. It should be noted that gamers will need the Mass Effect 2 and 3 discs to play, since they both are multi-disc games. Mass Effect 2 will be 13.2GB and Mass Effect 3 comes in at 15.6GB.
As for EA Access, Mass Effect 2 and 3 should now be available to download and play for all EA Access subscribers. EA has also announced that Mirror’s Edge, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and UFC 2 will be coming later in the month. Both Mirror’s Edge games will be available on Nov. 9 and UFC 2 will be ready to go on Nov. 10.
