Imagine that you're looking into an arcane mirror and realizing that the other side is calling out to you and promising you great power and knowledge. Once you step through, you're now in the world of Master of Magic. This remake of a cult turn-based strategy classic is now available on PC through Steam.
The game is made possible through a partnership between MuHa Games and Slitherine. It's a reimagining of the timeless classic released during the 90s. For those not familiar, the original Master of Magic can be considered a milestone in the fantasy strategy genre for it inspired a whole range of titles. This new version remains faithful to the original while offering updated game experience and in-depth content.
In the game, players take on the role of one of 14 unique and diverse great wizards as they compete with others to dominate the worlds of Arcanus and Myrror. They also get to choose from different schools of magic and fantasy races to command. They then lead their minions and expand influence and power across the land.
Armies to recruit from and command include elves, dragons, dwarves, and orcs. Be sure to support them with powerful spells in tactical turn-based battles. But researching new spells isn’t enough because engaging in alchemy and performing rituals are crucial too. All of these to help you change the world.
