The Captain America: Civil War trailer has dropped and gives fans new footage of the May 6 Marvel Studios film including the first look at Spider-Man.
After posters and teasers (and rumors) for a brand new Civil War trailer, Marvel has delivered with the second trailer showing off more action, more conflict between Cap and Iron Man and, of course, the biggest story of the day. The first look at Peter Parker in his Spider-Man getup.
After much debate whether we will see Spider-Man in full costume on May 6 has been answered with a quick shot of the wallcrawling superhero showing up in what has become an iconic scene in the early footage of the Civil War movie. We have both factions running at each other when there's a moment of supposed ceasefire when Iron Man and Cap are fighting.
That's when Tony Stark calls in the calvalry as Spider-Man appears and takes Cap's shield away.
This would confirm that Peter Parker has joined Tony Stark's pro-registration side, like in the comics, but whether he stays on that side of hte line remains to be seen.
Tom Holland was cast to play Peter Parker back in 2015 and will star in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot from the join efforts of Marvel and Sony as they try and get the iconic hero back in good terms with the movie-going public.
But Spider-Man isn't the only thing happening in that new Civil War trailer. We have more action scenes from that Black Panther, Winter Soldier chase. We see Scarlet Witch using her powers to subdue the Vision (a great feat, we may add) and more one-on-one action between Iron Man and Cap, which the break in their friendship is being pegged to be the big focus of the film.
