The X-Men Twitter account just confirmed a new Apocalypse trailer will release tomorrow and I’m hoping this isn’t the final full trailer before the movie hits theaters May 27. It’s unclear if Fox will give us another taste after the Captain America:Civil War hype dies down mid-May.
The new trailer could confirm a few floating rumors, including the highly anticipated Wolverine cameo (according to Heroic Hollywood) . I’m hoping Fox will pull a Marvel move and drop Hugh Jackman from the sky like Spider-Man’s superhero landing in the Captain America: Civil War trailer. Mystique recovered Wolverine’s body at the end of Days of Future Past and I need answers. Hugh Jackman has appeared in every X-Men movie to date, so there's undoubtedly room for him somewhere in the Apocalypse storyline. Though we haven't seen him fighting alongside any mutants in previous footage, even a brief appearance would appease antsy fans who aren’t looking forward to Hugh Jackman’s final run with the claws for Wolverine 3 in March 2017. It’s also a safe bet that Apocalypse and Wolverine 3 will be connected, so a cameo is only right.
There may be two more cameos in addition to Wolverine. A photo posted on Director Bryan Singer’s Instagram showcases an extremely large mutant who looks to be The Blob. The caption suggestively reads, “Light as a feather.” Also look out for Angel in the new trailer. He’s seen peering over Fred Duke’s impressively large belly. From the looks of it, Angel came out on top of this battle.
An old rumor also predicts we’ll be introduced to Channing Tatum’s Gambit. However, considering his solo big screen debut has been pushed back time and time again and we haven't heard any news as of recent, there’s no telling. We’ll know more after tomorrow’s trailer, but stay tuned for updates as Apocalypse’s release date approaches.

After a thousand years, the first mutant to ever walk the earth, Apocalypse, will rise again to decimate the world and create his own race of mutants. He has enlisted 'four horsemen' to aid him on his conquest: Storm, Psylocke, Angel, and Magneto.
Hailing from Ancient Egypt, Apocalypse, known as ‘The First One,’ is so powerful that he may as well be invincible. He is a master of ancient technology and has a range of mutant abilities including telekinesis, flight, super strength, teleportation, shapeshifting and metal morphing. Professor X, Mystique, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Jean Gray, Beast, Moira, Jubilee and Havok will have to go up against the almighty Apocalypse. Quicksilver will try to save the world and his father (Magneto) before it's too late.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27.
